MITHRA+ Tattoo Numbing Cream

SPECIFICATION

Usage: External use only. Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days.

• Inform your artist or practitioner that you are using this cream.

• Do not combine with other numbing creams as it may reduce effectiveness.

Storage & Shelf Life:

• Lasts approximately 1 year unopened and 2 weeks after opening.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

• Keep the lid tightly closed after use; exposure to air may cause the cream to dry out and reduce effectiveness.

APPLICATION

For the Best Results:

• Complete a patch test 24 hours before each use. Numbing agents affect everyone differently, making the patch test essential.

• Consult your GP before use if you are taking any medications.

• Active ingredients: 5% Lidocaine, 5% Prilocaine, 1% Epinephrine

• Cream base: Benzyl Alcohol, Carbomer 934, Lecithin (Soybean), Propylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Eugenol (Clove Oil), Water

• Avoid alcohol or excessive milk consumption within 24 hours before use.

Application on Unbroken Skin:

1. Wash hands thoroughly.

2. Remove any excess hair from the area.

3. Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and not cold.

4. Apply a thick layer of cream (2–3mm) without rubbing it in.

5. Cover with plastic film, ensuring it’s airtight but not overly tight. Masking tape works well for awkward areas. This helps prevent evaporation and allows proper absorption.

6. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

7. Leave the cream on for 1–1.5 hours (no longer than 2 hours).

8. Remove the film and wipe/clean the area (your artist or nurse may assist).

Tips:

• For piercings, covering with film is ideal but the cream will still work without it.

• For large areas (e.g., a full back tattoo), remove sections of the film gradually to maintain numbing for longer. Keep the cream thick for the full 1.5–2 hours for maximum effect.

• Only apply to exterior skin.

Reapplication (Broken Skin):

• Only reapply once during a procedure to reduce infection risk.

1. Wash hands thoroughly.

2. Ensure the area is clean, dry, and not cold.

3. Apply a thick layer (2–3mm) without rubbing.

4. Cover with plastic film, ensuring it’s airtight but not too tight.

5. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

6. Leave for 10–15 minutes.

7. Remove the film and wipe the area clean.
