AUTHENTIC TKTX HOLOGRAM

All TKTX numbing creams contain the same percentage of active numbing agents, but different colour blends offer unique absorption properties. Even with nearly identical active ingredients, the cream composition varies to suit different skin types and body characteristics.

• Inform your artist or practitioner that you are using this cream.

• Do not use another cream in conjunction, as this may counteract its effects.

Storage & Shelf Life:

• Unopened: ~1 year

• Opened: ~2 weeks

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Keep the lid tightly closed; exposure to air may cause a pink-brown colour but does not affect effectiveness

Application

For Best Results

• Do not consume alcohol or drink large amounts of milk in the 24 hours before use.

How to Apply on Unbroken Skin

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Remove any excess hair from the area.

3. Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and at normal temperature.

4. Apply a thick 2–3mm layer of cream—do not rub it in.

5. Cover with plastic film, ensuring it’s airtight but not overly tight. Use masking tape for awkward areas. This prevents evaporation and allows proper absorption.

   • If covering awkward areas (e.g., lips) isn’t possible, the cream will still work.

6. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.

7. Leave the cream for 1.5–2 hours (no more than 2 hours) for full effect.

8. Remove the film and clean the area (your artist or nurse will usually do this).

Tips:

• For piercings, film is recommended but not essential.

• For larger areas (e.g., full back pieces), remove the film in sections to maintain numbing. Keep the cream thick for the full 2 hours—an extra 30 minutes can make a significant difference.

• Only apply to external skin.

Reapplication on Broken Skin (During Procedure)

• Only reapply once during the procedure to minimise infection risk.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Ensure the area is clean, dry, and at normal temperature.

3. Apply a 2–3mm thick layer, do not rub in.

4. Cover with plastic film, ensuring it is airtight but not overly tight.

5. Wash your hands after application.

6. Leave for 15–20 minutes.

7. Remove the film and clean the area.
